TSIN provides several opportunities for educators to engage their students through STEM. Each of these programs encourages critical thinking and problem solving skills to ignite a passion for STEM in the workforce of tomorrow.
Statewide Design Challenge
In partnership with
Launch Tennessee, the Network invites all Tennessee students to participate in the 2020-21 Statewide Design Challenge! Students will design & pitch a profitable social enterprise to make the world a better place.
STEM Classroom Grants
The TVA STEM Classroom Grant Program, sponsored by the Tennessee Valley Authority in partnership with Bicentennial Volunteers Incorporated (BVI, a TVA retiree organization), is designed to fund STEM learning projects in classrooms and schools in the TVA service area.
Defined Learning

The Tennessee STEM Innovation Network is pleased to make available the Defined Learning platform for all Tennessee students in grades 5-8. Defined Learning provides students with engaging, Tennessee state standards aligned, project-based learning experiences, while building educator capacity to teach in a virtual learning environment.
