  • 6 Hours of professional development credit
  • Asynchronous virtual course work through TN's TeachAll platform
  • Time Commitment:  6 - 8 hours average total to complete
  • Covers: 6 STEM Competencies

  • STEM Explorers - 6th grade
  • STEM Innovators - 7th grade
  • STEM Designers (Career Explorations) - 8th grade
  • Advanced STEM Applications (STEM I: Foundations)

  • Engineering and Technology (Level I: Principles of Engineering and Technology)

Do you have questions? We've got answers!

  • Who can register?

    This program is open to new 6-12 STEM CTE educators, brand new teachers, OR teachers tht are transferring into the CTE STEM programs of study. 

  • When does registration open and close?

    Registration stays open through the academic year, starting early July 2025 and closing in April 2026.

  • Do I have to be from a STEM/STE(A)M Designated School to participate?

    Participants do not have to be from a STEM/STE(A)M Designated School or have a STEM/STE(A)M program already in place to participate in the training.

  • Is there a cost to participate in the NEW STEM CTE Teacher Summer training?

    The New STEM CTE Teacher training is offered at no cost to TN educators.
