Exploring Water!

This week you’ll explore the water! When you turn on the tap, water pours out. But have you ever thought about where that water comes from? Water can be all around us, but if it’s not clean, it’s not safe. Tennessee has creeks, rivers, and lakes but it’s not recommended that you drink from them for many reasons. Let’s learn how water goes from rain to waterways to your shower!

Computer Science Ed Week!

Welcome to De-STEM-ber and Computer Science Education Week! Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) is an annual call to action to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity in computer science education, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field. Resources this week may surprise you because Computer Science is everywhere!

Exploring Winter!

The first official day of winter is December 21, 2021! Many students will be on holiday breaks from school, but that doesn’t mean their curiosity has stopped. This week you will learn about the seasonal changes that happen in winter from longer nights to colder temperatures. You’ll also look at special challenges specific to winter!
