Curriculum – Engineering: Bridge Design

The learning objectives of the module are for students to be able to evaluate the history, economics, mathematics and science behind the design and construction of the Golden Gate bridge; apply trigonometric ratios and vector, force, and movement analysis to design and construct a bridge; and write a technical report incorporating cost-analysis and design justifications.
